The YWCA Northcentral PA understands the importance of prevention education in addressing and reducing sexual and domestic violence on college campuses. We offer engaging and effective session on various topics, tailored specifically to college students, which have the following benefits:

  • Increase awareness helping students understand what sexual and domestic violence is, how to recognize it, and how to prevent it from happening.
  • Teach students how to intervene when they witness concerning behavior, how to support survivors, and how to safely navigate relationships.
  • Create a culture of respect by shaping the norms and values of a community, promoting a culture of respect, consent, and healthy relationships.
  • Support survivors by providing resources for those impacted by sexual and domestic violence, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Collaborating with the YWCA Northcentral PA, our local college campuses can establish a safe and inclusive environment for students, where everyone is respected and valued.
