YWCA Northcentral PA Search for a New CEO
January 30, 2025
WILLIAMSPORT, PA - The Board of Directors of the YWCA Northcentral PA are announcing the retirement of Dawn Linn, CEO effective 1/31/2025. During her 7-year tenure, Dawn has achieved many accomplishments that have benefited the YWCA. Among these include a focus on donor development and giving which moved from $110K in 2017 to an average of $330K annually for a total of $2,328,136. Dawn has been able to repurpose and upgrade many areas of the 93-year-old YWCA building including the infrastructure through the Capital Campaign, and by securing various donations and tax credits from community members, area businesses, along with government grant opportunities. Dawn has expressed that she is very grateful to have worked with so many dedicated volunteers, donors and staff during these 7 years to make these improvements happen.
The Board has begun a search for a new CEO and looks forward to building on this foundation of improvements that are key to the success of the YWCA. During this transition period, the Board and YWCA staff are dedicated to ensuring that operations will continue smoothly and that the mission of the YWCA remains at the forefront of everything we do. Until a new CEO is selected, Cheryl Yoxtheimer, YWCA Board President will continue in the role of Interim CEO.
