Since 2003, Liberty House has proudly served as a permanent supportive housing program for individuals experiencing homelessness due to addiction in Lycoming County. Liberty House is a goal-oriented housing program, designed to address the individual needs of each participant.
Our focus is to work with families in group and one-on-one settings to help them achieve sustainability and economic empowerment. When women leave Liberty House, they not only have the skills to live independently, they also truly believe they can.
Liberty House is a partner program of the Lycoming County United Way.
Living at the YWCA
We work with 2-1-1 Coordinated Entry who will refer eligible clients to Liberty House. There are single and suite style rooms for families plus everything you need to feel at home.
Housing Location Services
Working with landlords to help our clients find affordable, permanent housing after exiting Liberty House. The aim is to decrease homelessness across Lycoming County.
Life Skills Courses
Residents learn a wide range of skills that are essential for independent success. They are taught budgeting, parenting, empowerment and healthy relationships.
