Fundraiser Charity Gala and Auction

A fundraiser for the YWCA, we are hosting our 9th Biennial Charity Gala this year! This event is a fundraiser to raise money for the clients who seek help and shelter at the YWCA. The clients of Wise Options and Liberty House rely on your donations to support them while they work on bettering themselves and their families.

The biggest fundraising event of the YWCA is occurring at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 3 at the Benjamin Ballroom in Williamsport. Dinner and drinks are included in the price of the entrance ticket. Reservations must be made by March 20.

***Due to unforeseen circumstances, our gala will be postponed. We will keep you updated!***

Throughout the fundraiser, a silent auction, live auction and a paddle raise will take place. The gala committee worked quite hard to get many of their packages donated this year and we thank them for all of their hard work.

Wish Board

What is called a “wishboard,” small squares line a big board with a number from 1-100. So, to buy a card means you’ll give the amount that the card states.

Super easy and the money raised is going to one specific thing that our residents need. The money we raise from this item is going to create a safe, private place for walk-ins to feel welcome and safe when they speak to our advocates.

Some of the items we are looking to get include a self-care kit for victims, inspirational artworks and a calming color paint for the walls and furniture. For those with children, we will also need rugs for the small play area, kids chairs and picture books, and a toy box with a few toys.
